Dear Families,

I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are excited

to start a new week! I am elated that we are finally
welcoming Fall! It is one of my favorite seasons! I would
like to say thank you to all of the families who were able
to attend our curriculum night! I hope that you received
information that was helpful and that any questions you
had were answered. I am sending our objectives and IB
units home to families who were unable to attend, and
posting our PowerPoint on the website.

Last week we went digital! I sent our newsletter through
e-mail and posted it on our class website. I will also be
sending all information sent from the school through
email. If you would still like to receive paper copies of
the newsletter and other school information, please
email me (cwhite3@wcpss.net) to let me know.

Wake County requires that all families sign and return
the WCPSS handbook signature page. If you have not
returned your signed page, please do so by Thursday,
September 22
nd
. Thank you!

There has been some confusion about Spelling City.
There are no specific assignments due at a specific
time. To access the games, you log-in and click on the
list you would like to work on. There are a few buttons
that say play a game, click on that button and
students can play basic and premium games. E-mail me
if you still have questions.

Finally, families I cannot stress how important it is to
check GOLD folders! Please check your childs folder
DAILY and return DAILY. This is one main mode of
communication, and it is imperative that you check the
folder for any important information from myself or the
school (especially if you have chosen to receive paper
copies of information).

As always, if you have any questions or concerns,
please do not hesitate to ask. Mrs. Bicknese and I are
here to help!

Sincerely,

Ms. White
