management. Samara invests in Emerging Indian Companies (EICs) which it defines as those businesses that
are poised for rapid transformation due to a strong entrepreneurial minded management team and a favorable

Description of roles and expectations:

Summer Associates hired in the program are an integral part of the Investment team and are given high levels of
responsibility and broad exposure to the many aspects of Investment evaluation. Key responsibilities include creating
financial models, analyzing historical and projected financial statements, conducting industry and market research,
reviewing company information and preparing documentation for internal processes among other activities associated
with live transactions.
