This is our new front porch, Love it!!! The walkway leading up to our new home
Welcome to Burundi! We are very excited to have found a place to stay, we now know after looking back that the Lords
hand was all over this transaction. In case you didnt know we were looking a different place and we were quoted a price
but when the owner of the house found out we were from America they raised the rent by $200.00, so needless to say we
walked away. After three days we are finally getting settled in and starting to adjust to the time zone. We will be starting
our language class tomorrow so pray that you can in fact teach an old dog new tricks, were going to attempt to learn
Kirundi which is the native language here in Burundi. We will also be sharing the Operation World View starting next
week to the ICM teachers, Operation World View is a spin-off of or mini version of the more popular Perspectives Course,
this will be a big stretch for Karen and myself so pray that we will be much smarter than we are!
We are so blessed to be a part of Gods global picture and to have been given this opportunity to come and serve
alongside ICM International staff member Painito Ambuka, what a great man of God. We are so impressed with the ICM
staff that is serving at this time in Bujumbura, its an honor to be working together with them. Please keep us in your
prayers as we follow the Lords calling. Again we want to thank everyone for your prayers and support, this trip would
not be possible withut you!
