IndefenseofStiglitzsargument,IagreethatthedivisionofincomeandwealthinAmericais

withStiglitzthatthereisunequaldistributionofwealthwithinAmerica,Ialsobelievethatasegmentofit
couldbepreventedwithharderwork.
Additionally,IcanalsoagreewithStiglitzbecauseIhavepersonallyseenasegmentofthe
unequaldivisionofwealthwithinAmerica.IhavebeentoseveralareaswithintheUnitedStatesand

ComparedwiththepeoplelivinginDayton,manypeoplewholiveinplacessuchasGeorgetown

downhousesinneighborhoodsinwhichalmosteveryotherhousehasbeencondemned.Contrarily,
veryfewpeopleinGeorgetownCountyliveinsuchplacesasthoseinDayton.So,frompersonal
experience,Iknow,andamabletoagreewithStiglitz,thatthesplitofwealthandincomeisnotequalin
America.
WhileIagreewithStiglitzthatAmericaswealthhasbeenunequallydivided,Idisagreewith

andincomewithinAmericaisunfair.
Stiglitzriskshiscredibilityinseveralofhisstatementsbyoverusingpathostoarouseangerinthe
readers.Inhisassertion,Americahasallowedinequalitytogrow(746),StiglitzimpliesthatAmerica

StiglitzalsousesimplicationsofcorruptionintheAmericangovernmenttosupporthisclaimthat
