Important:

Cancellations of education sessions must be made at least 5 working days prior to the visit,
or a cancellation charge of $200.00 will be invoiced to the school. The cancellation fee will
be waived in the event of severe weather or if the booking is rescheduled to another date
within 3 months of the original.

All schools must enter through the Rail Gate entrance and go to their meeting point at least 5
minutes prior to the allocated session to meet your educator. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL
FOR MEETING POINTS.
PLEASE NOTE: There are three meeting points for education programs. Meeting Point A is the
Discovery Centre (near Lions, opposite toilets), Meeting Point B is the Historic Enclosure (on
the main drive opposite the carousel), and Meeting Point C is Growing Wild (near the Main
Gate at the top of the Zoo).

PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. ON THE DAY - Payment can be made on the day by company/school cheque or
credit card. A tax receipt will then be issued.
OR
2. INVOICE - Payment must be made no later than 14 days after receipt of invoice by
EFT payment (please quote name and or invoice number), credit card or
company/school cheque. An OFFICIAL PURCHASE ORDERr must be presented on the
day of the visit to any of the three Zoos Victorias campuses (Melbourne Zoo,
Healesville Sanctuary, Werribee Open Range Zoo) gate staff. If a Purchase Order is not
presented at the ticket office the teacher responsible for the visit will be asked to
telephone the school for the PO to be faxed that same day.

3. PAYMENT IN ADVANCE Payment can be made in advance of visits via EFT
into Zoos Victoria bank account.

accrec@zoo.org.au with relevant details of visit (Zoo Victoria Campus your school
is visiting and date of visit).
Please ensure that the numbers of students and teachers given to our admissions
office staff upon arrival on the day of your visit is correct (accurate head count) or
an administration fee will be charged if a credit is to be issued.
