Begum Nasim Wali criticises ANP leadership

KARACHI: Begum Nasim Wali Khan, chairperson of the Awami National Party (ANP)
Wali group criticised the ANP leadership for putting the party in corruption and
malpractices. She claimed that the party had been diverted from its actual aims and
objectives.

Begum Nasim was speaking to journalists at a meet the press programme at the Karachi Press
Club (KPC) on Sunday. Begum Wali, who had come to Karachi first time in 17 years, plans to
organise the party in Sindh as well as conduct inter-party elections to constitute a formal
structure for the party.

I had silently observed the party disintegrate over the last seven years as the leaders had
distorted the manifesto and constitution for their personal gains, she said when asked her reason
for separation from the ANP.
