used this source to provide direct quotes from MLK to enhance my description about him
and the way he changed the world.

taken from several different resources. This source was used to explain the legacy of Jesus

Brainy Quote provided quotes from different people all over the world. I used this primary
source to quote famous Christians, Jesus Christ as well as quotes about Jesus Christ.

This website provides the Book of John in an online format. I used this primary source to
give an account of Jesuss life and to quote sentences from the Gospel in an easy to
understand translation.

This Study Bible provides the Bible text in New Living Translation, as well as footnotes,
maps, outlines, etc. I used this source to make my research and reference to the Bible easier
by using the outline which provided comparison of the Gospels and the differences
between them.

This source examines the leadership of Jesus and the importance of his leadership.
Augustinsen explains that it is through his calling, his disciples, his empowerment of
others, his integrity, etc. that Jesus exposes himself as a leader. I used this source to
illustrate Jesus' leadership qualities.

This secondary source examines the life of Billy Graham. Billy Graham is one of the most
noted Evangelical preachers in America. His inspiring sermons brought hope to many
during America's fight against communism. Graham also used media and the founding of
his ministry to greatly affect the spread of Christianity throughout the world. I used this
source as an example of how Christianity has greatly affected thousands across the globe.

This secondary source provides information on the life of Harriet Beecher Stowe. Harriet
Beecher Stowe is the author of the anti-slavery novel Uncle Toms Cabin. Although well
known for Lincolns remark to her about the Civil War, many are unaware of her profound
faith. I used this source to illustrate Stowes faith and the credit she gave to God for her
work.

This secondary source provides information regarding the life of George Washington
Carver, a scientist and agricultural expert born during the Civil War by slave parents. He
used his agricultural expertise to lesson Southern dependency on cotton as well as

developed many products from peanuts, wood, etc. Carver was also a Christian who gave
credit to God for his accomplishments and talents. I used this source to give another
example of a Christian who has changed the world.

The following secondary source provides information on Jesus including the way he taught
through parables and the credibility of Jesuss trial and crucifixion. I used this source to
illustrate how Jesus taught through parables so that regular day people could understand
and apply what he taught to their own lives.

This secondary source examines the difference between the historical Jesus and Jesus
Christ. Davis uses evidence to support his claim that the Gospels are authentic and
Christianity is rooted in the idea of Jesus as the Son of God. I used this source to support the
idea that the Gospels support the idea that Jesus is the Son of God.

This secondary source provides information on how Jesus is the model servant leader and
why his servant hood mattered in his ministry. I used the information gathered from this
source to illustrate the character of Jesus by using examples such as when he washed his
guests feet.

The following secondary source provides information on the teaching and character of
Jesus. Kimball points out how the individuals who we look up to share numerous
characteristics of Jesus. I used this source to provide information on the character of Jesus
and the reason why so many followed him.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a Baptist minister who led many Civil Rights Movements
promoting nonviolence such as the Montgomery bus boycott. Even after his assassination
in 1968 his efforts in the Civil Rights Movement led to the end of segregation in America.
I used this source as an example of a Christian whose efforts have greatly affected
American history.

This source gives an overview of the life of Mother Teresa a Catholic nun and one of the
most well-known humanitarians. Her foundation since her death in 1997 has grown to over
4,000 members, 610 foundations in 123 countries across all seven continents and has
established orphanages, nursing homes, family clinics, health clinics, a leper colonies, etc.
All of which has been done in the name of Jesus. I used this source as an example of how
Jesus has and continues to spread ideas of caring for the poor and sick across all nations
even thousands of years after his death.

This secondary website provided information on the legacy of Jesus, mainly the Peace
given to the world because of Jesus sacrificial death and obedience to God. I used this

source to support the idea of Jesus legacy toward his Church and the gift of peace given to
those who follow him.

This site provided twenty Christians in all different fields who have effected people on a
global scale. From scientists who discovered laws about gravity to preachers who fought
for Civil Rights, Christians from all different backgrounds have greatly impacted the world
around them. I used this site to give specific examples of Christians who changed the world
and more specifically Martin Luther King Jr., George Washington Carver, and Harriet
Beecher Stowe.

This secondary source provides information regarding the compassion and authenticity of
Jesus. Both, Scufflebotham points out make Jesus a great leader. I used this source to
illustrate the character of Jesus and how his character helped him gain followers.
