They Say/I Say

Page #15 Part 2

In the introduction They Say/I Say The Moves they Matter in Academic Writing,
Gerald Graff and Cathy Birkenstein provide templates designed to structure and
generate model templates that can help you put the principal directly into practice.
As the authors themselves put it, "Some of these tam plates represent simple but
crucial moves like those used to summarize some widely held belief ". Although
some people believe that it's true that critical thinking and writing go deeper, but
this still needs supporting reasons, evidence and opposing argument. In sum, then,
their view is that this cannot put in practice unless you have a language to express
clear and organize.
I agree. In my view, the types of templates that the author recommended are very
us full in school or work. For instance, it help us not only to use this templates but
to create our own and be original. In addition the authors help us to listen to others
ideas and respond to what they said, in our own words. Some might object, of
course on the grounds that they can make a traditional paragraph or essay so
ported with evidence. Yet I would argue that in the real world they can't make
arguments without being provoked. Overall, then I believe that this templates are
very useful -an important point to make given is that this template will be useful in
our entire life and every single day.
Age #28 Part 1
a.) When it comes to the topic of the contamination on the Ohio water, most of us
will readily agree that it can be very dangerous to have X chemicals in the ground
water. Where this agreement usually ends, however, is other question of how this
got in the water. Whereas some are convince that the factories drop chemicals in
the water, others maintain that the water always had that chemical.
b.) When it comes to the topic of how material forces drive history, most of us will
readily agree that the material world can drive us to certain things. Where this
agreement usually ends, however, that people fight for land and material things
that sometimes they don't need. Whereas some are convince that they need
material stuff more than the spiritual, others maintain that if you have interaction
with the spiritual world, you have everything that you need in life.
c.) In conclusion as I suggest earlier, defenders of proponents Freudian
psychology question standard notion of rationality can't have it both ways. Their
assertion that the theory made by Freud remain hotly debated today and his ideas
are still dissed, is contradicted by their claim that even though if it was still
contradicted people use his theory.
d.) In discussion of the female y male sex one controversial issue has been that
male students often dominate class discussion. On the one hand the teacher
argues that because of her experience he can say that girls are more organize and
dominate class discussion. On the other hand, the boys in the classroom contends

that it doesn't matter if girls are organize boy dominate class discussion. Others
even maintain that girls
e.) At the same time that I believe that the film is about the problems of romantic
relationship, I also believe that that film is showing us that love can overcome any
problem.
f.) Being afraid that templates like that ones in the book " they Say/I Say" affect
your creativity is normal and understanding, but I disagree because it can also help
you get new ideas and you might create new temples.
