Thislessonwentincrediblywellinallofmysections.Studentswereimmediatelyengagedwiththereading,andthe
musicplayingseemedtokeepthemfocused,ratherthanlettinguncomfortablesilenceovercomethem.Allsectionswere
shockedbythetwistrevealoftheprotagonistoftheirreading,andthediscussionthatcamefromitwasverystrong.
Theendingwhiteboardactivitymayhavebeenunnecesary,andinsomesectionsIcutitshorttocontinueconversations,
oruseditinterweavedwiththediscussionwewerehavingratherthananactivityonitsown.Inall,thislessonwent
verywell,andIjustwishwehadmoretimeforthediscussion.
