Teaching Points/Modeling
Cues/Input & Organization
They will all perform the warm up
together and I will lead the
stretches.
Each student will get one ball and
one racket and will attempt the
four balls drills that I will have
them do. The purpose of the ball
drills are to help develop racket
control.
I will show the class what simple
strokes look like so that they can
have a better chance of keeping a
rally going. Racket below the ball
and finish the stroke over your
shoulder. Knee bend is very
important.

Modifications or Accommodations for less-skilled and/or adapted learners OR Extension Activities for highly-skilled students: We can easily separate and pair
players of equal skill level. We can also set up different drill to accommodate each persons needs when it comes to their tennis game.
