Static HSDPA Test

The static HSDPA data session comprises of a sequence of single data tests,
always starting with an Attach and a PDP Context Activation followed by the
FTP download and FTP Upload. When the test series is done the PDP Context
is deactivated and the phone is detached. After a pause of 30 seconds a new
sequence is started. Tests are done at 4 static locations. The Download File
Size is 5MB and the Upload File Size is 2MB. In addition 100 Ping test are
performed with a payload size of 32 Byte.

Starthub has the best HSDPA FTP

download success rate.

M1 needs a lot of improvement here
since the success rate was only found
to be around 90%

Even the DL througput for M1 was

comparatively slower than competitors.

SingTel and Starhub have an average
DL speed of 800Kbps but M1 is
approximately only half of that.
