Lesson #1 Outcomes

What is probability all

about?
Probability is about odds. It is about making educated
guesses about the future from observed trends. We use
it when we check the weather or when we predict human
behaviors. It is important in games, in buying lottery
tickets and at the casino. Probability is all around us and
we use it every day.
