1) .The two articles I used are from Privacy & emerging technologies. The articles are
called Privacy Aware Learning and Exploring rare earths supply constraints for the emerging
clean energy technologies and the role of recycling
a) For the privacy article I typed in the key word: Privacy
For the Emerging technology article I typed in the keyword: Emerging
b) The database that I used is the Ccbc libraries database, and for the privacy article I used
Legal/Criminal Justice database.
c) The legal/Criminal Database seemed that it would be more appropriate for the subject at hand.

2a). The article I found is named Nuclear power: Energy for the future or relic of the
past?. This is a very interesting article and ties into the article I found earlier about clean
technology. This article is about how nuclear power is slowly becoming demanded more because
of the rapid growth in societies everywhere and them needing more power sources. In addition to
that the article shows the cost of the plants and the amount of waste they will produce. These
plants are needed however many places like germany are demanding these plants to be shut
down and to continue to find other ways to power societies.

In the research I did using the key terms I found that Google was extensively more effective. The
reason why google was better was because of type of information they presented. When I
searched clean technology in their search engine and immediately they gave a definition of what
it was and provided a plethora of results. Overall google was just better.
4a). It was written on February 26, 2015
b) These article is relevant because they both explain the how energy is going or leaning towards
clean.
c) Richard Anderson is the author. He is considered a person that is qualified to write this article
because he is a Business reporter for BBC news.
d) This information is trustworthy because multiple sources has the same information.
e) This was written to inform the nation and nations about the use nuclear power and the cost
around the world.
5). When it comes to the articles they were both easy to access once I found them. The
only true difference between them both was the Db article. The Db article had to be modified to
just journals and wasnt immediately accessed. The internet article was a lot easier accessed
because of the database I used had a section for just technology. However this all being said both
the articles were both easily accessed.
b).
The timeliness of the articles were both more up to date. One was a lot more up to date
then the other however. The scholarly article was made a bit before the time of the internet article
seeing as though the internet article was made almost a week previous to this date. In addition to
that they both present up to date information that allows the reader to gain a better understanding
of the bigger picture the article is trying to present (example: states, amount of money
spent/wasted and etc.).

Finally the authority of both these articles are legit. The reason for that being is because
they both present up to date facts and stats, both were written by credible authors and they both

are from data bases and web sites that checks out as creditable. The Internet article came from
BBC which is completely reliable source while the DB article came from the schools library
database.
