Technical Scope Proposal Outline


Outline:
Introduction
Hook: In the city of Raeford, located in Hoke County North
Carolina, the people use 1077 kWh/ month. Which is 19.27% more than the entire
US on average (which is 907 kWh/month). Costing them around $141000.84 each
year in electric bills.
Transition:
Considering the average income of households falls
under the working class.
Thesis:
Building homes that are energy efficient and
environmentally friendly would help lower the bills of the residents in the
city save money. It would also help with the pollution problem that the
city has.

While we are building a home that is
environmentally safe, it comes with risk factors to the ones who are
building it.
Statement
These factors being broken or fractured bones,
minor and or major cuts and bruises, respiratory problems, eye irritation
and death. Many incidents that happen on a jobsite occur from fall
hazards. They are the cause of most of the injuries that happen on the job.
Evidence
There are many ways for a worker to fall while on
duty when working at a construction site, a few of these ways being they

can fall from high distances if proper procedure isnt followed, they can
fall off of a ladder and they can fall off of the roof.
Analysis
In order to try and keep these incidents from
happening, there are laws, rules and regulations put in place for every
worker to follow to lower the chances of having them happen.

Topic Sentence
Unfortunately, there can be possible delays during
our time of construction. These delays could be due to weather. or
financial setbacks.

These being due to rain/thunderstorms, someone
getting seriously hurt, and mistakes during the construction process

Its spring
They still have a possibility to get hurt, even though
they follow rules and regulations
People make mistakes, but they must take the
responsibility for their actions.

Conclusion:
Restated Thesis
Constructing a house that is energy efficient and
doesnt do harm to the Earth, will benefit the city of Raeford because it
will lower their utility bills, and lower the pollution level in the city.
