1. This project consists of solving a case study related to profit planning.
2. This case is detailed in a separate document.
3. The results of the analysis should be presented in a typed hard copy paper or
Excel.
4. Paper length should be no more than 10 pages .
5. The paper is due no later than April 2, 2015.
6. You can work in groups of 3 students maximum.
7. Your grade for this project is based on the following:

Prepare a master budget for the three-month
period ending June 30. Include the following:
A sales budget by month and in total.
A schedule of expected cash collections from sales, by
month and in total.
A merchandise purchases budget in units and in dollars.
Show the budget by month and in total.
A schedule of expected cash disbursements for
merchandise purchases, by month and in total.
A cash budget. Show the budget by month and in total.
A budgeted income statement for the three-month
period ending June 30. Use contribution approach.
A budgeted balance sheet as of June 30.
