For #1,
Given, VR = 6.28 cm3 and the experimental data P1 = 18.555 and P2 = 6.987.
Therefore,
V P =6.28

1 =10.397 cm
([ 18.555
6.987 ) ]

For #2,
Given, VR = 6.28 cm3 and the experimental data P1 = 18.823 and P2 = 7.090
Therefore,
V P =6.28

1 =10.392 cm
([ 18.823
7.090 ) ]

For #3,
Given, VR = 6.28 cm3 and the experimental data P1 = 18.162 and P2 = 6.857.
Therefore,
V P =6.28

1. Density of the particulate

To determine the density, weight of the sample = 1.583 g.

For #1,
Density = mass/volume
Density = 1.583/ 10.397 = 0.1522 g/cm3
For #2,
Density = 1.583/ 10.392 = 0.1523 g/cm3
For #3,
Density = 1.583/ 10.353 = 0.1529 g/cm3

Average Density of the Particulate=

0.1522+ 0.1523+O.1529
=0.1524 g /cm3
3

Or
Density of the particulate = 0.1524 g/cm3 x 1000 kg/m3 = 152.4 kg/m3
