Mission 19: Spring Hunting Plan

Team Volvo CE
Project Background
In the future recycling and reusing material will be required for demolition and construction projects as
creating new material will be significantly more expensive than reusing material. Additionally
construction sites will become tighter as urban development becomes denser.

Problem Statement
Currently there is a lot of recycling and reuse of materials done today, however they are all done off site
which means lots of trucking. This causes pushback from the communities, increased cost, and negative
impacts on the community.

Need Statement
Materials need to be stored onsite more efficiently to allow recycling and reuse of materials to be done
onsite.

Solution Statement
By creating a modular storage device, the footprint of the material stored onsite can be decreased
allowing for more room onsite for equipment to perform the reuse and recycling of materials.

Goal for EXPE

Constructions or Watershed Materials.
