Virgen de la calendara festival

Its a religious festival. Every year

thousands of people from all over
the world attend the Virgen de la
candelaria festival. It takes place
for eighteenth days in the city of
Puno, in Peru. The event stars on
the first day in February and ends
on the third week in February.
At the festival, people watch
different dancing events. There are

also parades, music and dance . the

people eat traditional foods for
example ; Chupe de quinua , Trucha
frita and Caldo de cabeza
This traditional festival is the
biggest event of the year in the city.
