Note Making Assignment

Take your notes for at least one math class lecture using the techniques
discussed in the module including RSQ2C. Reflect on whether or not the
process was helpful. Be as specific as possibleinclude ALL aspects of the
process such as where you sat, active listening, which format worked best for
you and why, T-notes, your use of RSQ2C, etc. Meet with another student in
this class to exchange and critique your notes using the form below. If you
are taking MATH 003 remember that you should be taking notes from the
videos, PowerPoint presentations, and/or textbook. If you have access to a
scanner, you can scan the notes and critique and submit them via ELMS
otherwise, take a picture of your notes and submit them via ELMS. All parts
of this assignment must be typed except the actual class notes.
Where I sat: 2nd row of the classroom.
I was actively listening and note taking.
I think my notes worked for me, I just needed to add a few thing/fix spellings.

Rework your notes on this topic.

For this part, I reworked my notes my spelling out some confusing
abbreviations and fixing any misspellings to keep things correct and
consistent. I filled in the gaps by adding in the equations.
Summarize this topic completely in one sentence.
To determine a model of statistics, it is important to understand variance,
standard deviation and how to read and describe a distribution because after
all these describe the important characteristics of the data.
What questions do you still have about this topic?

I know understand the process, but I want to practice this. Can the professor
provide an example problem we can work through together as a class?
Connect this topic to previous learning.
I connected this topic to previous material I learned in Business Statistics
class, and compared my notes from Business Statistics to this class notes.
How confident are you about this topic?
After re-reading and working through my notes from this lecture, I am more
confident in this topic. I think taking the time to look at the notes after class
and digest/understand them is helpful.
