AIM:
Android based electric train ticket reservation system
converts all the manual work into web based computer process so that the
load of the employees and paper work will be reduced.
OBJECTIVE:
Android based electric train ticket reservation app suggest
a user friendly automated ticketing system which will automatically
deduct the passengers fare according to the distance travelled as well as
detect the passengers identification, the ticket issued will be in the form
of Quick Response Code.
The GPS facility which is available in the Smartphones is
used for checking the tickets and the Quick Response code will be deleted
from smartphone automatically once the passenger reaches the
destination
EXISTING APPROACH:
To buy a Suburban Railway Ticket Passenger has to stand in the
line for buying tickets.
The Suburban railway employee register the user details and issue
the requested ticket to the passenger.
After travelling ,the validation of a ticket is done manually by the
ticket checker
DRAWBACKS:
More number of employees are required in issuing the ticket and
for validation process.
The process is tedious since it has to be done daily as a routine.
To buy a Suburban Railway Ticket one should stand in a queue for
a long time, which is waste of time in fast moving world.
PROPOSED APPROACH:
Android Suburban Railway ticketing is mainly to buy the suburban
tickets which are the most challenging.
Android Suburban Railway ticket can be bought with just a smart
phone application, where you can carry your suburban railway
tickets in your smart phone as a QR (Quick Response) code.

ADVANTAGES:
The system is completely automated so it reduces the human
efforts.
Through GPS facility of android mobile, the passenger can get the
list of metro station or railway station easily and he can quickly
buy the tickets
android application can be very useful for governmental
organization for tracking the user
