WAYSOFTHINKINGCONNECTION
In this first grade lesson students will mainly be asked to demonstrate strategic thinking. Strategic thinking means
being able to develop a strategy or plan to achieve a particular vision. During this lesson, students will conduct an experiment
in which they will try and undo water pollution. They will start strategic thinking when they will be asked to how they can
undo the water pollution and to clean the water. Then, they will further demonstrate strategic thinking, as they will come up
with three ways that they can help prevent water pollution from happening. Students will also be asked to think of ways they
can conserve the limited amount of clean water that we have.
