In all likelihood, this concerto has been thought for a treble
recorder in G. Our edition provides a transposed recorder part
in F.
Corrections
The manuscript consists of seven separate parts, which for
clearness sake are indicated with capital letters in the notes
below:
A entitled Flauto contains the recorder part.
B with no title contains the recorder and the violin 1 parts
scored together.
C entitled Violino Primo contains the violin 1 part.
D entitled Viol. P.o contains again the violin 1 part.
E entitled Violino Secondo contains the violin 2
part.
F entitled Vio.no 2do contains again the violin 2 part.
G entitled Controbasso, o Cembalo contains the bass
part. On the same title page we read 1726.
H entitled Basso contains again the bass part.
As usual in Neapolitan manuscripts of the 18th century, the
dynamic mark opposite to forte is dol.[ce]. We normalized
it with the modern p throughout.

Con ogni probabibilit, questo concerto fu concepito per

un flauto in Sol. La nostra edizione contiene una parte del flauto
trasportata in Fa.
Correzioni
Il manoscritto consiste di sette parti separate, che abbiamo
indicato per motivi di chiarezza con lettere maiuscole nelle
note sottostanti:
A intitolata Flauto contiene la parte del flauto dolce.
B senza titolo la parte del flauto dolce spartita con quella
del violino 1.
C intitolata Violino Primo contiene la parte del violino 1.
