Sol Writing PreAssessment

In my pre- assessment,
I used logic in order to
persuade my audience.
I also had 3 strong
points in order to show
my audience my point
had more than one
argument regarding the
negative effects of
social media.

My goal with this paper

was persuasion. I was
supposed to argue
whether or not social
media had a more
positive or negative
effect. Looking at this
writing months later, I
realize I should have
backed up my arguments
with more fact, which will
help me grow in the
future.
In this story, I used
archetypes to tell a story
of the life of a duck. My
goal was to tell a cute
story the also held deeper
meaning. In the end
through the use of
symbols and archetypes, I
created an entertaining
story with a deeper
meaning then appears at
the surface.
In this essay I showed a
sort of timeline. I
accomplished my goal of
creating a series based
on quotes and backing
them with support. I
explained the quotes
rather than summarized
them which was a major
personal improvement
because I usually do the
opposite. This piece was
the first writing I have
done with embedding
quotes properly and it
certainly helped me to
grow.

In this story, I used winter

and the setting sun as
symbols for death and
sadness. I turned an old
duck into a mentor, to
help guide the saddened
one to happiness. I made
the new ducks name
Daisy as a symbol for
spring and a new
beginning.
In this essay I spoke
about how equality was
the one different one. My
thesis was one statement
that I would break down
to represent my three
main points. I created a
confined tone towards the
beginning then as
Equality broke out from
society, my tone became
more rebellious with a
feeling of freedom.

This essay was about how

Frank Kafka portrayed
existentialist ideas in his
book, The
Metamorphosis.

This paper is after I took

my writing from the
beginning of the year and
changed it.

This is a reflection on my
whole year.

This allows for others to

see into me. It shows
people whats truly
important to me and what
everything I do in my life
will reflect towards.
This reflects my view on
texting and driving. I
back up my points with
solid facts, which I sited
my sources in the end. I
came up with a valid
solution that appeals to
all audiences.
This was my personal
interpretation on how
Kafka portrays that you
as an individual create
meaning in your life, and
how that no matter what
you do things are going
to be cruel.
This is the most visual
form of growth. It shows
how I argued things in the
beginning of the year, to
how I would support my
opinions now, also
keeping in mind the
interests of the reader.
This reflection shows how
I started out in the
beginning of this year,
and how I have changed
and grown as a person.
This reflects how I am as
a person now and what
inspired me to become
this way.
