Pamphlet Rubric

You will design a pamphlet on Nepal and the recent earthquake. We have done a lot of research
on what has happened and what relief efforts have been done so far to aid the people of Nepal.
The pamphlet will include a brief paragraph about the effects of the earthquake on Nepals
people, a paragraph about what still needs to be done, and a persuasive paragraph with a call to
action through donations to Red Cross Canada. You will also need to use persuasive advertising
techniques studied this term. You may use technology or old fashion paper and pencil to create
your pamphlet. Your pamphlet is due Thursday June 4, 2015. Additional research may be done at
home, but ample class time will be provided to complete the project.
