My Social Cause
My social cause has to deal with
pollution in the Ocean, and the
pollution that effects the sea animals.

Why does it matter to

me?
I chose this social cause because I really enjoy the
beach, its such a great place to be ad just to enjoy
Gods Creation. Also it really touches my heart to
see all the liter and pollution in the ocean affect
the sea animals because the Ocean is their home
and some of the people in this world just dont care
about the environment.

What causes pollution in the

OCEAN
The most common elements that causes
pollution in the Ocean is plastic pieces, nets
which entangle the sea animals, oil spills,
trash, solid wastes, sewage, fertilizer which
takes away oxygen in the water that affects
marine life.

Problems with OCEAN

Why Ocean pollution is a problem, its
because it harms the sea-life, which is Gods
creation, also its making that environment
an unclean place which would not be a fun
place to be at because it would be filthy and
again unclean.

Prevention of OCEAN Pollution

Some options to prevent pollution in the Ocean would be to use
reusable a shopping bag instead of plastic bags
Store food in reusable containers instead of those you throw
away
Avoid products that come with excess packaging
Recycle Dont Liter
Volunteer your time to clean up a beach
Visit the beach, it improves coastal communities

Stricter government regulations on industry and
manufacturing
Renewable energy sources so off-shore drilling no
longer needed
Limit agricultural pesticides
Proper sewage treatment
Cut down on waste and contain landfills

What God says about the

OCEAN
I think that God doesn't want us to pollute the land or sea
because he created it to be perfect, for us to respect the
place he has made for us to enjoy. He even talks about
pollution in the bible.
Numbers 5:33-34 You shall not pollute the land in which
you live, for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can
be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except
by the blood of the one who shed it. You shall not defile the
land in which you live, in the midst of which I dwell, for I the
Lord dwell in the midst of the people of Israel.

Final thoughts
I hope that my thoughts on this cause would inspire
you to become aware of the pollution that is in our
beaches. Also to not pollute the waters because the
beach is to be a fun, safe, and clean environment
not an unclean environment.
