VincentVanGoghwillhelpstudentsbegintoseehowheusedbrushstroketorecordhis
impressionoflight,colorandtexture.Studentswillhopefullybegintoseeourlocallandscapein
anewwayandfocusonthechangingeffectsoflightandcolorandhowtheyworktogetherto
createtextureinthelandscape.TheseconceptsaretheessenceofImpressionismandVanGogh
wasaleaderinthisartmovement.
Throughtheexperiencesinthisunit,Ihopethatourstudentswillexploretheessential

wouldlikethestudentstogainanessentialunderstandingbyobservingotherartistswork,
