Mr Sheldon holds a bachelor of music from the University of Mimi and a master of fine arts in conducting from the University of For da, Mz, Sheldon holds membership in the Florida Bandmasters Associa- tion, Florida Music Educators ASso- lation, Music, Educators National Conference, Florida Orchestra AS- sociation, National Band Association, American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, American Schoel Band Directors Association, Phi Kappa Phi, Pi Kappa Lambsa and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Ke has served as a panelst and clinician forthe Florida Bandmasters Association on several ggeasigns and has conducted numerous Al-County and Al- Sfate bands throughout the Southeast. ‘The American School Band Directors Association has honored him with the Volkwein Award for composition and the ‘Stanbury Award for teaching.
