Thanks for revamping these age old posts again. Actually these are simply application of Chinese Remainder
Theorem(CRT)whichTGhastaughtlongbefore.Youcansearchforthemintheforums.
Regarding this question, we could solve it without using CRT also. Read the divisibility rule of 1001 in Divisibility
lesson: it says makes group of three digits taking together starting from unit digit and make them alternately
positive and negative. First group from unit digit side to be positive i.e. suppose I want to find remainder of
123456789with1001,itissimplysameastheremainderof123456+789=456with1001i.e.456.
Thereseemssomeerrorinthesolutionprovidedbyme.Kindlycheckandgivemethecorrectanswer.Seeifyou
