Methodology
This survey of 1,000 likely general election voters nationwide was
conducted on August 13th-17th, 2015.
All interviews were conducted online; survey invitations were
distributed randomly within predetermined geographic units. These
units were structured to correlate with actual voter turnout in a
nationwide general election.
This poll of 1,000 likely general election voters has an accuracy of +/3.1% at a 95% confidence interval. The error margin increases for
cross-tabulations.

Previously the United States had a similar agreement with North Korea, negotiated
by some of the same American negotiators, not to develop nuclear weapons, but
North Korea violated the agreement and developed nuclear weapons anyway.
Would you say that this will be the same case with Iran, that theyll sign the
agreement, take the $100 billion in economic sanctions relief, violate the
agreement and build nuclear weapons anyway? Or do you think that the Iran
agreement is an entirely different case?

Recently New York Senator Chuck Schumer, a leading national Democrat who's in
line to be the leader of the Democrats in the US Senate, announced his decision to
oppose the Obama administration's agreement with Iran. After the initial vote by
the Senate and Congress, if Congress disapproves of the deal, the President will
veto their resolution and Congress will have to override the President's veto. In
that case, would you like to see Senator Schumer and other leading Democrats
work together with Republicans to get enough votes to override the President's
veto and void the agreement with Iran, or allow the President's veto and the
agreement to stand?

In the short time since the Iran agreement has been signed several things have
happened which violate the spirit if not the letter of the agreement. The leader of
the elite Iran Revolutionary Guard who has been under sanctions not to leave Iran
traveled to Moscow and met with Russian President Putin and his Minister of
Defense; Iran is still refusing to allow its scientists to be questioned by
the international agency on their military program on nuclear weapons in violation
of the agreement; and there is now photographic evidence that they are trying
to clean up the secret military base where nuclear research was carried out in
which they have refused previously to be inspected. Considering these incidences
do you think there is enough evidence for those who are planning to vote for the
agreement to change their position and now vote against the agreement?
