first period identified in the Business
Information page.
Use the assets and liabilities you were

Include Sales and Expenses you expect will

Calculate the Capital as the balancing figure

4TH TASK
From the Trial Balance you already have:
Prepare an Income Statement for the month
Prepare a Balance Sheet at the same date
Prepare a Closing Entry Journal for the 1 st
period

5TH TASK

Prepare a list of transactions for the 2 nd


period identified in your Business Information
page. You must include:

Sales in cash and credit (use debtors from 1 period)


Purchases in cash and credit (use creditors from 1 period)
Transfer of cash from or to the bank
Either a Sales Return or a Purchases Return
Payments for similar expenses from the 1 st period
Receipts and payments from Debtors and to
Creditors
