I am a passionate educator, with four years of teaching experience, both in the United States
and internationally, in a broad range of positions. I am dedicated to improving the teaching
and learning in my classroom, as well as in the broader school community. I create authentic

challenging curriculum for middle school language arts students, based on a combination of
Lucy Calkins Writers workshop resources, College Board Curriculum materials, and CCSS
Created differentiated lessons aligned with current curriculum, in an effort to meet the needs
of a diverse range of language abilities
Integrated technology to enhance lessons and cultivate student motivation and engagement
Efficiently carried out formative and summative assessments, in order to communicate high
