This article discusses the two different factors that could causes ADHD, which include
environmental and genetic. Environmental reasoning could work because there are links
between cigarette smoking and alcohol use during pregnancy. Genetic reasoning could
work because there are results that point to ADHD running in families. This article states
that Scientists are not sure what causes ADHD, although many studies suggest that
genes play a large role. Since this article points to believe that genetic causes is what
causes ADHD this is very helpful to my essay. My essay is what causes ADHD and this
article gives many examples to prove some of my causes and disprove some of the others
to make a clear cause to this disability.

different ways, this article gives examples to prove that ADHD could be causes by

medicating and examples of medication and if it is overused. This article would work for
my essay because not only does it provide information and examples for each cause but
also goes into a little more detail to what happens after the child or adult is diagnoses and
what happens after that.

This article talks about how genetic is the main cause to ADHD, they state this because
there are links that lead to this being the cause, this woman was smoking while she was
pregnant and her child developed ADHD, but scientist followed many other cases such as
these and there are many other situations that have the same outcome. This article also
states that There are possibilities to other causes to this disability. Meaning that this
opens the possibility for ADHD to be caused by genetic situations as well. This article
would work for my essay because it gives an example to why environmental reasoning
could work for this theory.

interviewed and researched many possibilities to ADHD. He has come to the conclusion

essay because it gives an example to why the genetic theory would work.

This book would work great for my essay because this whole book is proving what
exactly happens where and why. This book gives specific examples to each cause and
walks the readers through what exactly happens and proves that ADHD is scientifically
causes by genetic not by environmental. This book would work for my essay because it
ties in completely the whole essay, it provides all facts and where to find these facts and
why this is important.

what kind of environmental issues to avoid, such as cigarette smoking while pregnant and
drinking while pregnant could also be a cause. This article would work for my essay
because it provides specific information to why environmental is the main cause to
ADHD.
