Week-1: Perform NI.com MultiSim Tutorials 1-5, and put into your electronic portfolio on

email, the Sunday of the week before it is due. This assessment will be made visible on the
Sunday night (mid-night), before the start of the new week, and will remain visible only until
mid-night Sunday of the following week.
Week-2: Perform NI.com MultiSim Tutorials 6-9, and put into your electronic portfolio on
your flash-drive; then, take the assessment for week-2 on http://testmoz.com/class/15862,
entitled Wk2, using the password sent to you via your school email, the Sunday of the week
before it is due. This assessment will be made visible on the Sunday night before the start of the
new week, and will remain visible only for the following week.
Week-3: Perform NI.com MultiSim Tutorials 10-15, and put into your electronic portfolio on

Week-5: Put your electronic portfolio from your flash-drive onto your DropBox.com account, so
I can collect it, with all other student portfolios; then, simulate each of the schematics of
Drawings 1-5, and put the results into your electronic portfolio folder; and, take the assessment

via your school email, the Sunday of the week before it is due. This assessment will be made
visible on the Sunday night before the start of the new week, and will remain visible only for the
following week.
Week-6: Capture the schematic of the Superheterodyne AM Broadcast band receiver into
MultiSim; simulate it, and log the voltage at each of the test-points indicated on the original
sketch of it; then, put the results into your electronic portfolio; then, take the assessment for
week-6 on http://testmoz.com/class/15862, entitled Wk6, using the password sent to you via
your school email, the Sunday of the week before it is due. This assessment will be made visible
on the Sunday night before the start of the new week, and will remain visible only for the
following week.
Week-7: Capture the schematic of the Voice Operated Switch (VOX) into MultiSim; simulate
it, and log the voltages, both without and with -10dbM input to the microphone, at each node in
the circuit, both AC and DC values; save your work to your flash-drive; then, take the

Week-9: Take the tutorials on UltiBoard software, #1 through 9, on sending MultiSim files
to UltiBoard and create a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) of the Week-1 receiver schematic; save
your work in your electronic portfolio on your flash-drive; then take the assessment on
http://testmoz.com/class/15862, entitled Wk9, using the password sent to you via your school
email, the Sunday of the week before it is due. This assessment will be made visible on the
Sunday night before the start of the new week, and will remain visible only for the following
week.
Week-10 (this is the online lesson used for ETEC-648): Go to http://GGG-Cube.weebly.com,
view the reverse engineering lesson; and take the assessment on http://testmoz.com/class/15862,
entitled Wk10, using the password sent to you via your school email, the Sunday of the week
before it is due. This assessment will be made visible on the Sunday night before the start of the
new week, and will remain visible only for the following week.
Week-11: Reverse Engineer the PCB called, mystery PCB-2, using the methods detailed in the
lesson from week-10; simulate the circuit; record the AC and DC voltage at every node; then,
save your work to your flash-drive; and, take the assessment on http://testmoz.com/class/15862,
entitled Wk11, using the password sent to you via your school email, the Sunday of the week
before it is due. This assessment will be made visible on the Sunday night before the start of the
new week, and will remain visible only for the following week.
Week-12: Redraw the hand-sketch of the microcontroller (MCU) transponder into Multisim;
enter the given code into its memory bank; simulate its operation; decode the sequence of ASCII
data that is sent from the MCU during the simulation, and document that data; then, save your
work on your flash-drive; and, take the assessment on http://testmoz.com/class/15862, entitled
Wk12, using the password sent to you via your school email, the Sunday of the week before it
is due. This assessment will be made visible on the Sunday night before the start of the new
week, and will remain visible only for the following week.
Week-13: Design a PCB for the microcontroller (MCU) transponder, using Multisim and
UltiBoard, making the board as small as possible, using a QFP-44 MCU footprint; save your
work onto your flash-drive; and, take the assessment on http://testmoz.com/class/15862, entitled
Wk13, using the password sent to you via your school email, the Sunday of the week before it
is due. This assessment will be made visible on the Sunday night before the start of the new
week, and will remain visible only for the following week.

Week-14: Redraw the hand-sketch of the Digital Television receiver into Multisim; enter the
given code into its memory bank of the embedded MCU; simulate its operation; simulate the I/R
remote control responses to each keypad code; and document that data; then, save your work on
your flash-drive; and, take the assessment on http://testmoz.com/class/15862, entitled Wk14,
using the password sent to you via your school email, the Sunday of the week before it is due.

Week-15: Design a PCB for the Digital Television receiver, using Multisim and UltiBoard,
making the board as small as possible, using a QFP-88 MCU footprint; save your work onto your

the password sent to you via your school email, the Sunday of the week before it is due. This
assessment will be made visible on the Sunday night before the start of the new week, and will

the password sent to you via your school email, the Sunday of the week before; ALSOcopy
your final electronic portfolio onto your desktop of your DropBox.com account, for which you
gave me the access path at the beginning of the course. Then, send me an email, indicating that
it is ready for me to collect and evaluate, before the Sunday following the Final Exam.
