INTRODUCTION
Research Questions (if research questions are not specifically mentioned, what is
the theoretical background or overarching theme):
1- How school admistrators should integrate ipads in a class environment to create an
effective teaching process?
2-how an electronic device such as ipad can be used for a student to learn about a class
as efficient as he/she can?
Purpose of the research: the purpose of research study is to determine if an ipad can
be integrated into the school system to improve both teaching and learning process for
teachers and students.
METHODOLOGY
What is the methodology for the research or approach used to understand the
issue? Provide information regarding the following:
RESULTS
Findings or Results (or main points of the article): The data analysis of this study is
categorized into five main groups: analysis of demographic and contextual data; impacts
of the training process on school administrators use of iPad and iPad applications;
impacts of the training process on school administrators beliefs regarding how teachers
should use iPads in the classroom; differences in participants responses by their
demographic and contextual data (gender, age, years of experience in school
administration and education, highest degree attained, school classification, and school
size); and evaluation of training process.
DISCUSSIONS
Conclusions/Implications (for your profession): The need for technology leadership
in K12 schools is supported by several studies (Anderson & Dexter, 2005; Davies,
2010; Fletcher, 2009;Gosmire & Grady, 2007; Leonard & Leonard, 2006). School
administrators play a vital role in the implementation of new technologies, and they are
widely regarded as the instructional leaders of their schools (Dawson & Rakes, 2003;
Lashway, 2002; McLeod, 2008). Since school administrators are the key facilitators in
implementing new technologies in their schools, training for this group should be a
priority (Holland & Moore-Steward, 2000). The challenge, as schools increasingly adopt
iPads (Crichton et al., 2011; Dogan,2012; Murphy, 2011), is in implementing and creating
instructional goals for their use.
REFLECTIONS
Students Reflections (changes to your understanding; implications for your
school/work): integrating technological devices such as ipad iphones laptops to a class
environment can definitely hold students interest and understanding much longer time
than having a regular class setup. Using an ipad not only makes a class more
interesting, also it helps a student to meet future requirements for any kind of work
environment with technology use.
