Plan International is one of the oldest and largest


international development agencies in the world. In the
Philippines, Plan works with children and their families in
the poor communities with programs covering education,
child and youth engagement, health (including water and
environmental sanitation), and child protection.
Plan International has a three year project funded by European Commission to be
implemented in four provinces in the Philippines, in partnership with INCITEGov and EVNet.
The projects main objective is to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations and
marginalized groups to constructively engage in inclusive social protection policymaking
and accountable programs implementation. In line with this project, Plan International
invites highly competent, experienced and committed professionals to ll the following
positions:

Project Specialist (Social Protection), Based in Tacloban City


The Project Specialist Social Protection will provide technical guidance on the development
of training designs on the monitoring of social protection programs, take part in the
development of monitoring tools and scorecards, and crafting of the local social protection
programs of the Local Government Units.
Qualications:

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development or any related course


Minimum of ve years' work experience in community development and governance
programs
Has adept knowledge of social protection programs in the Philippines.
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills

Monitoring and Evaluation Ofcer, Based in Tacloban City


The Monitoring and Evaluation Ofcer will be responsible in conducting regular monitoring,
documentation, reporting and management of information of the project. S/he will facilitate
the mid-term and end-of project evaluations.
Qualications:

Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Statistics, Community Development or any


related course
Minimum of three years' work experience in community development work particularly
in conducting research, planning, report writing and monitoring and evaluation.
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills

Communication and Advocacy ofcer, Based in Makati City


The Communication and Advocacy Ofcer will lead in the development of the advocacy plan
as well as communications and visibility plan of the project and provide technical assistance
in implementing advocacy activities at the municipal level.
Qualications:

Bachelors degree in Development Communication, Mass Communication or any


related course.
Minimum of three years work experience in policy advocacy and campaign.
Has strong background in advocacy and publication.
Has proven excellent critical and analytical thinking skills
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills

Community Development Facilitators


The Community Development Facilitator will facilitate the capacity building of communitybased organizations to monitor the implementation of social protection program service
delivery in the community and engage government to improve service delivery. This position
will be assigned to the various covered municipalities in Masbate, North Samar, West Samar
and East Samar.
Qualications:

Bachelors degree in Community Development, Development Management, Social


Sciences or any related course.
Minimum of two years work experience in community development and civil society
organization strengthening
Has relevant training and experience on community development, civil society
strengthening and project management
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
