Scribd in Cooperation with SAP AG Announces Largest

Implementation of Document Reader Technology

More Than 18,000 API Users -- Including Majority of Online Jobs Sites –
Integrate Scribd Document Sharing

SAN FRANCISCO – March 30, 2010 – Scribd, the largest social publishing and
reading site in the world, announced in cooperation with SAP AG, the leader in business
management software, the largest implementation (to date) of its document reader
technology. SAP is integrating Scribd's technology into the SAP® StreamWork™
application released today. SAP joins more than 18,000 companies and developers that
have implemented Scribd's open application programming interface (API) to provide
customers an easy way to access, share and store documents on the web.

"We've essentially created virtual document rooms for tens of thousands of companies,"
said Jared Friedman, Scribd's CTO and co-founder. "Through our API, we have millions
of customers using our technology, which extends our customer base well beyond
Scribd.com."

"Integrating Scribd’s document reader technology helps give users of SAP StreamWork
transparency into their files without leaving the SAP StreamWork environment,” said
David Meyer, senior vice president of Emerging Technologies, SAP. “This way they
naturally focus on the goal at hand – the work being done – and are simply more
effective."

The Virtual Document Room

The majority of career sites, including Monster.com, now use Scribd's technology to
show resumes and other documents directly from their sites. Other Scribd API users
include large legal information companies like FindLaw, Internet companies such as
Posterous and academic organizations like Educause.

"The beauty of Scribd's API is that the technology seamlessly integrates into our blogging
platform, which makes for a great user experience," said Sachin Agarwal, CEO and co-
founder Posterous.

Scribd API users get all the benefits of Scribd's technology while keeping their users on
their site. Their users can turn any file format -- including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint,
Excel and PDF -- into a web document and instantly share plans, memos, sales collateral,
manuals and other written content. They can also send and access the documentation on
most mobile devices.
