Learn how to crop a picture

Introduction
Excel 2013 allows you to insert and crop pictures in a spreadsheet.
1. Inserting pictures into a spreadsheet and cropping them can sometimes be necessary. Excel 2013
follows much of the same process to insert and crop pictures as Word 2013 does.
2. To insert a picture into a spreadsheet you would use the INSERT tab in the ribbon. To crop a picture
you would use the FORMAT tab in the ribbon.
3. Inserting pictures works by taking an image from your computer and adding a copy of it into your
spreadsheet in the cell you have selected. You can also insert an image off the internet through Excel.
4. If you would like to enhance a spreadsheet, adding a picture is a great idea. Sometimes pictures need
to be cropped if they contain sections that arent necessary.
