AGREEMENT SPRING BREAK TRIP TO RIVIERA MAYA, MEXICO, In connection with the upcoming planned trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico in March 2016 for certain Wootton HS. Seniors and families/family friends, you agree to the following on your own behalf and, if you are a parent, on behalf of your minor child or children, whether your minor child is traveling with you or alone. Each person traveling is referred to below as a “Traveler.” 1. Booking information and cost details have been relayed previously as provided by The Family Traveler, LLC. Accommodations are scheduled to be at the Grand Palladium Kantenah in Riviera Maya, Mexico (the “Resort”) departing Friday, March 25, 2016 and returning Thursday, March 31, 2016, 2, Gayle Strauss and Tracie Saltzman (the “Trip Organizers”) have coordinated travel utilizing the services of the travel agency, The Family Traveler, LLC. Neither the Trip Organizers nor members of their immediate family shall be held responsible for any aspect of the trip, including, but not limited to, matters related to airlines, transfers to and from the Resort, accommodations, room assignments, Resort amenities, excursions, injuries, damages, claims of any kind, or related in any way to activities or actions in which a Traveier(s) may participate or be involved. 3. _Asexplained previously, the Resort does not allow spring break teens unless traveling with parental supervision, Each Traveler under the age of 21 who is traveling with his or her parent shall be supervised by that parent and that parent shall be responsible for his/her son or daughter regardless of whether the son or daughter is above or below the age of 18 Each Traveler who is a high schoo! senior (a “Senior”) who is not traveling with his or her parent has designated a “Responsible Adult” who has agreed to be available to that Traveler in the case of emergency and for general guidance, if requested. Each Senior agrees to act responsibly and appropriately at all times. Despite the assignment of a Responsible Adult, each Senior is responsible for his or her own actions, safety, and conduct. Each Traveler, including all Seniors, ‘travel at their own risk and assuie the risk of any activities, whether it be a private excursion, using the Resorts facilities or otherwise. Neither the Trip Planners nor the Responsible Adult(s) shall be held liable or responsible for any actions, conduct, misconduct, damages, or injuries caused by or related to a Senior(s) or any other Traveler. Each ‘Traveler below the age of 21 who is not a Senior and who is not traveling with his or her own parent shell be the responsibility of the parent who has agreed to care for that Traveler (such as, a friend of a younger sibling of a Senior, or @ minor who is @ family friend of a Senior family). Inthe event that any Traveler is asked to leave the Resort due to his or her misconduct, inappropriate behavior or the like, any cost of early departure shall be borne fully by the Traveler or Traveter’s parents in the event the Travoler is below the age of 21. 4, By signing below, you agree to release and hold harmless the Trip Planners, their families, all Responsible Adults, and the Family Traveler, LLC from any and all events, actions, failure to act, injuries, claims or damages of any kind relating in any way fo the planned trip or any aspect of the (rip. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Trip Planners, their families, all Responsible Adults and the Family Traveler, LLC from any financial obligation, damage, claim(s), injury and/or liability of any nature incurred by any Traveler (including, but not limited to Seniors). You also agree that the Trip Planners, their families, Responsible Adults, and the Family Traveler, LLC, cannot be held responsible for any expenses, accidents, injuries or delays incurred or suffered by any Travelers whatever the reason or cause. 5. Each Traveler, regardless of age, must have a valid passport, with at least 6 months remaining before expiration. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE A VALID PASSPORT. COSTS FOR THIS TRIP ARE NON- REFUNDABLE. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TRAVEL WITHOUT A VALID PASSPORT. APPLY NOW IF YOU NEED TO OBTAIN A PASSPORT. CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE OF YOUR PASSPORTS NOW. 6. The fogal age to drink alcohol in Mexico is 18. ALL' TRAVELERS WHO CHOOSE TO DRINK ALCOHOL AGREE TO DO SO RESPONSIBLY AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAW. IN ADDITION, ALL TRAVELERS AGREE NOT TO BRING, ATTEMPT TO PURCHASE, OR PURCHASE ANY ILLEGAL DRUGS OR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES. TAKE STEPS IN ADVANCE OF TRAVEL TO DISCUSS THE IMPORTANCE OF DRINKING AND ACTING RESPONSIBLY (INCLUDING WATCHING OUT FOR FRIENDS), WE WILL BE OUT OF THE COUNTRY, SUBJECT TO THE LAWS OF MEXICO, NOT THEUNITED STATES. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT TRAVELERS UNDERSTAND THIS AND DO NOT ACT IN ‘CONTRAVENTION OF APPLICABLE LAW. 7. Itis our strong preference that ‘Travelers not leave the grounds of the Resort, Seniors who do not have their own parents with them shall not leave the Resort (with the exception of an optional, planned group snorkeling trip excursion). 8, All Travelers agree to arrive at the airport for departure at a time to be designated in advance and to be on time for transportation to and from the Cancun airport and the Resort in the manner designated by the Trip Planners. ‘The ‘Irip Planners, Responsible Adults, and The Family Teaveles, LLC will NOT be responsible for costs incurred due to late Traveler(s). 9. Asnoted previously, this trip is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or coordinated through Wootton High School. 10, Anelectronie or faxed version of this agreement is the same as a signed original, Lageee to the terms of this Agreement on my behalf and, if 1 am a parent, on behalf of my minor child or children on this____day of. _,2016.
