In this user guide I will be showing you how to do different things in photo shop
and I will be going over step by step how to do 12 different things.

Opening Photoshop

On a mac its is simple to open simply go to Launchpad in you task bar and then
click on Photoshop.

This is what it will look like when you first open up Photoshop.

Then you will have to click on open and locate you image a need to open in Photoshop.

Then the picture you have clicked will open and should look like this.

Blurring background

In this picture I have an image in the background and I want to focus the
attention on just the car so what I am going to show you is how to create a focus
circle on just the car. To do this you will need to go to filters.

Then you will need to go to blur gallery then on iris blur.

Then what you have to do is position the blur area over the part of the car that
you dont want blurred like I have done here, there is also a slider on the side
which you can change how much the blur affects the background.

This is the final picture with a blurred background.

Inserting text

For inserting you will need to click to the (T) bottom on the left hand side and
then you can create a text box and put it anywhere on the image and then write
and also change the font and color and size at the top of the page.

Clipping mask

The first thing you need to do is duplicate the background.

Then you need to right click on the duplicate image and then
create clipping mask.

Then you need to insert the text that you want and
also click the eyes looking button the original
background and then you are done.

Then the image that you started with will now be in the text.

Moving the image

For moving the image you will fist need the image up and open ion photo shop .

Then you will need to click on the top tool and then
you will be able to click on the image and move it
around the canvas you have made.

This is what will happen if you move it off the page.

Using the eraser

Using the eraser is simple all you need to do is
click the eraser tool on the left and then you can
rub out anything on the picture you want.

When do right you will be able to rub anything out.

Removing the background

The tool you will need is called polygonal
lasso and what this will allow you to do is go
around your image to select only what you
want.

This is where you will have to select the invert of the picture then you can delete
it and it will become clear.

How to crop an image

This is the crop tool that
you will need to use to
crop the image to
different sizes that you
need

With this tool you can hold and drag round the part of the image you want to
keep and then when you have this just double click on the image and it will crop
it.

Then when you have doubled clicked on the image it will resize and then you
have cropped an image.

How to change an image to black and white

This is the tool you will need to click in order for the image to turn into black
and white only.

Then the image will be black and white

How to add lens flare

To add lens fear you will need to go to filters at the

top and then go down to render then onto lens
fear

Then this will come then you will

have to select where you want the
fear to be in the sky and how
bright you want it then click ok.
