Scope for Nigeria AS400 Migration

Its an existing application supported by GAMS. As part of current engagement,

AS400VETCOUK, we are also supporting Nigeria users with admin activities. Partial
support also extended to Nigeria users in the area of MAPICS.
Migration activities require Skillset of AS400 technologies with MAPICS
The scope includes:
Data migration from In-House applications
MRP
Purchasing
OEI
Data Migration from MAPICS applications
Inventory Management
Product Data Management
Production Control and Costing
Production Monitoring and Control
Team will be working closely with the target system Migration team (Oracle) in
providing Table structures layout and data as needed

Spectra Financial system
Enhancement
Interface designing
General points
Need to know whether we need to use any data migration strategies and tools to
migratethe data between the systems
Need to know components of interfaces for target system
Very important is need to know and understand file layout in source system and
target system

Issues and assumptions

Business will provide the additional details for End Customer and Service offering
and they will be moved as part of Organization structure for Projects
Ensure that no development work is going on in existing application and No
movement of bench and management projects and their resources.
