FLORES RETAINS STRONG LEAD IN DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY IN CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT 4

LAS VEGAS, NV Lucy Flores, Democratic candidate for Congressional District 4, released a poll
commissioned by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee that shows her retaining her double-digit
lead over her Democratic primary challengers.

The new Public Policy Polling survey found that Lucy Flores continues to hold a substantial lead for the
Democratic nomination in Nevadas 4th Congressional District. Flores is at 29% to 9% for Susie Lee, 7% for John
Oceguera, and 6% for Ruben Kihuen. Flores big advantage has been a constant in this race - when Public Policy
Polling polled it last June she had 28% to 9% for Oceguera, 7% for Kihuen, and 6% for Lee.
Im thrilled that the community support I have earned over the years is still strong in this crowded primary. I
have spent my entire life overcoming obstacles and taking on challenges so that I could do my part to improve
our community. The people of Congressional District 4 deserve a fighter with a proven track record, and I will
continue to work hard to earn the support of as many people as I possibly can, said Flores.
We are incredibly grateful for the support that we have in the community. Lucy is the only candidate who has
spent a lifetime in Congressional District 4 and these poll numbers demonstrate that you cant just buy support
support is earned. Our opponents have been campaigning for months and have spent a combined $456,000
and they are still polling in the single digits. Lucy knows that a people-powered campaign funded with
thousands of small dollar contributions is how campaigns are won. Lucy rejected the notion that the only thing
that defines a front-runner is who has the wealthiest contributors or who has the most political connections
and the voters have rejected that notion too. We will continue to demonstrate that people want real leaders,
who have lived real lives and they will vote for the person who is the most capable and works the hardest
and that person is Lucy, said Monica Perez, Flores campaign manager.
Lucy Flores grew up in a challenging community in North Las Vegas. Through her own hard work and the
investment of people who believed in her, she earned a GED, and went on to earn a law degree from the UNLV
Boyd School of Law. Ensuring that every Nevadan has the opportunity to succeed is what continues to inspire
her into public service and why she decided to run for Congress.
