Cindys Function
In words: In this project I will be using a google
earth tour so it can measure the distance straight
from the office to the classroom as the crow flies ,
after i measure it, i will walk from the office to the
classroom counting my steps to see what is the
measure or length, between walking through the
walls and walking through the curves to see how
many steps i walk.

Cindys Function
How I collected the data: I will collect the data by
measuring the length from the office to the classroom
then i will walk from the office to the classroom using
a step fit watch to count my steps then i will record it
in my phone after i am done i will pass it to my slides.

Cindy's Function
Inputs:The length from walls to get to office to classroom
Outputs:The steps walked to office to classroom
Domain: 56.66, 216.39
Range: 43, 126

Equation: L(s)= 0.372*x+41.997 As the feet
increase from the office to the classroom as the
crow flies the steps would increase 0.327 .

Graph:

Cindys Function
Linear, Exponential, or Other: It is linear
even though it doesn't hit the line it still
has linear relationship

Cindys Function
What I learned: I learned that their is a difference
between walking through walls or flying rather than
just walking, the differences is that you actually
walk more steps rather than being able to fly or
walk through walls.

Jennys Function
In words: I will be using a bike to see how fast I can go on the bike
pedaling ten times separately and measuring it each time I pedal.

Jennys Function
How I collected the data: I collected the data by marking it on the
measuring tape and writing it down on paper.

Jennys Function
Inputs: the number of pedals
Outputs: distance of the bike pedaling
Domain: can be any number, I chose 1-5
Range: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 0

Graph:

Jennys Function
Linear, Exponential, or Other: The group that my graph would be in is
exponential because as you can see it goes up and curves at the end on
the top, because exponential graphs a curved line going up that would
be what my graph would be.

Jennys Function
What I learned: I learned during my experiment as I collected data that
when I pedal the bike and record the measurements that each
additional pedal the further the distance it increased.

Jennifer Morenos Function

In words: I will be measuring how small a pencil gets during school
over a number of 4 days. I expect for the pencil to get smaller as the
days pass

Jennifer Morenos Function

How I collected the data: I collected the data by recording the length
of a new pencil, use that same pencil for 4 days, and at the end of
each day record the length of the pencil.

Jennifer Morenos Function

Inputs: Time; the number of days i will be using the pencil
Outputs: Measurement; how small the pencil gets
Domain:1,2,3,4

would expect the pencil to decrease by 0.65 cm.

Linear, Exponential, or Other: My graph came out to be linear.

Jennifer Morenos Function

What I learned: I learned that each day you use a pencil a different
amount of times. There are some days where you use a pencil more
time than others and that can vary on much work you are doing and/or
the time spent at school.

Zachs Function
In words: I will be seeing if studying helps your test score.

Zachs Function
How I collected the data:
I gave 4 people 2 tests; the first test before studying, the 2nd test after.

Outputs: test score

Linear, Exponential, or Other: my function is linear

Zachs Function
What I learned: I learned that there wasn't much of a difference in when
you studied and when you didnt

Williams Function
In words: I will be drawing the same picture over and over 5 times. then
I will compare the speed of the thing I drew.

Williams Function
How I collected the data: I drew 5 of the same drawing and compared
the times it took to make them.

Williams Function
Inputs: five different times to draw
Outputs: the results of what I drew

Williams Function
Linear, Exponential, or Other: My function is other because every
time it is a different
pattern so it is not straight

Williams Function
What I learned: I learned that people tend to make more mistakes when
timed or under pressure. I also learned that some people prefer a clock
because they can feel proud of their achievements.
