Unfortunately, the program was not what it purported to be, and we did not receive the benefit of what we were told nor what we requested the program do for us, both in writing and verbally. Further, the speakers at the programs, as well as our alleged “mentor” not only failed to comply with the program as it was described in the writings and seminars we attended, but were either teaching us ways of acquiring property that are illegal and/or unethical or soliciting us to work with them outside the scope of the Trump program. Emails were not returned, phone calls were not returned and our mentor specifically told us that the majority of the Gold Elite fees were for his mentorship, that Trump had not paid him (telling us once that he was owed over $40,000), advised us to purchase another program that he was also teaching for, failed to perform even the minimal requirements under the Gold Elite contract even though he promised us that he would not leave us until we made our first deal, and offered us other ‘opportunities to work with him on real estate acquisitions separately which he then failed to follow up on as well. went to the Trump program over other realestate investment courses because of the Trump name. I believed that Trump would have an excellent program, filled with real advice, information, help and, as a lawyer, | figured that he would have the best attorneys draft and/or review the forms so that I could rely upon their legal accuracy. After paying for the Gold Elite program, I found that the online videos I could watch were not what they purported to be, many times could not be accessed, and, for the ones that did exist, half the time were not available, and the forms were old (such as a budget that was dated 2008), not well drafted and some were not in compliance with the law. Even more disappointing was that every email I received from Trump was a solicitation to spend more money for additional seminars, online programs, other vendor’s programs (what wasthe relation between Greg Clement and Trump anyway?) Additionally, not one of the seminars that I had paid for as part of my Gold Elite package were ever held in South Florida. In fact, to my knowledge, none were held anywhere in Florida. My partner, Ms, Marmontel, did in fact pay for many of these unsolicited extras, and did not get her money’s worth from any of them. In particular, she signed up for a bus tour in Miami that was $3495. This tour was not properly set up as it did not have any of the professionals on board it was supposed to have and turned out to be completely ineffective and not what was promised, as more fully set forth below. ‘The important part of the program for us was the one year mentorship, which we stated in ‘writing in the initial questionnaire that was given to us during the 3 day pre-program in response to the question — “what do you need from this program” (paraphrased). When we signed up for the Gold Elite program we made it clear that what we were expecting from it was support and accountability because we were new at this and knew we needed support to succeed. We were reassured that the mentorship was going to meet if not exceed our expectations. When our mentor, Mike Biglane, came to do the 3-day mentorship with us, we made sure he understood that we needed the support and the accountability that we had demanded from the program during the mentor allocation process, Mike assured us that he would be helping us all along and that he was committed to help us close our first deal ASAP and would not let go until wwe did. We never received a phone call from him to schedule a time to talk about our progress or see if we had any questions. In fact, we did not hear from him again untit I received an email recently from him asking me to join him on Facebook. Further, most of what_he did during the 3 day program was to talk about his prior exploits as a real estate investor. He taught us very litle, and helped us even less. (On 06/05/10, Laure also purchased the Bus Tour, for $3495. It seemed very interesting as we were told that many of the Real Estate professionals involved in a real estate transaction that ‘we'd need to interact with to close a deal would be there: lender/ ttle agent, contractor, roofer, insurer, etc... And that they would be there to answer all ofthe questions we may have and that after this Bus Tour we'd be confident to go out and do our own deals. When Laure attended the bus tour the only “professional” there was a residential real estate agent who was hired at the last minute according to the two Trump instructors that were there, This realtor had no idea what the goal of the Bus Tour was and he basically just drove us around to look at properties, mostly condos. We even wasted more than one hour of our day waiting for the realtor to get us in one of the condos before eventually giving up. ‘Most importantly, contrary to what was sold (o us, there was no contractor on the bus to give us an idea of repair costs, no lender to give us information on lending requirements, etc... It was a total waste of time, with total lack of content and just unfulfilled promises. During the classroom time, the 2 Trump instructors spent most oftheir time selling us another Phoenix Bus Tour to bid at auctions for a bargain of $15,000 and pitched us to no end the upcoming Trump real estate software... All of the students there were frustrated; another one didn’t even come back for the last day. It was a waste of 3 days of time and money. Also, on 05/30/2010, 28 days into the trial period of Trump’s sponsored software “Foreclosure Dealsource”, Laure was charged $34.95 and never credited back. Though we were told “After your free one year trial period, you will automatically be billed $34.95 every month Page -2-for continued access to Foreclosure Dealsource.” Your company charged her 28 days after signing up instead of one year later and this is just another example of the Trump company’s total lack of organization and structure. ‘Understand that because my partner Laure Marmontel was not able to receive the benefit of What was promised by Trump, Ms. Marmontel has signed up for another real estate course with ‘mentors and can actually testify as tothe differences between programs, although they all promised the same thing. The other program materials and seminars are informative, instructive and actually teach real estate investing, The mentor she was given through the other program stays in contact with her, answers her questions, advises her and basically does what he is being paid to do. The ‘company makes sure she is getting what she paid for by touching base with her every two weeks and creating a schedule of calls, There is also a call with the student and the main office 6 months into the mentorship to see how the mentorship is going and if anything needs to be done to make sure she gets the best of her program. These are all things we expected when we paid $35,000 for the Gold Elite program. Do you know that neither of us was ever called by anyone at the Trump companies for any reason? You would think that for $35,000 per, the main office would show interest in its students, and that it would be fair that we expect the Trump companies to do so, wouldn't you?
