Work closely with the Career Services office at Siena Heights University to offer events such as reverse
internship fairs and the annual Operation Serve event (community career expo featuring 70+ employers)
Evaluate activities for effectiveness and make adjustments when necessary to meet jobseeker and employer needs
Coordinate with various case managers (youth, veteran, training, and cash assistance programs) to enroll
participants in appropriate programs
Work closely with community agencies such as Goodwill, Community Action Agency, and Michigan
Rehabilitation Services to help clients reach their education and employment goals
Provide guidance directly to clients regarding employment and education goals, including job leads, work
experience, local labor market information, and training referrals
Develop monthly assessment center reports and prepare board presentations when needed
Educate jobseekers, employers, school districts, and human service agencies on the services provided by the
workforce development system
