Ok, that's disappointing to hear. I'll probably go ahead and visit
with the folks because I've lined everything up, and I'll just do it on
my own dime, and just go solo.
We just need to decide if we are going to have the public policy of
growing marijuana in Georgia for medicinal purposes for sick
Georgians. If we decide that is the case, we can set up the model,
like a Minnesota or Connecticut that will be so restrictive and

Sounds good. I realize I have made many mistakes, and I have in

Allen,
‘The Govemor respectfully disagrees as long as this product is a schedule I narcotic and a violation of federal
law to possess.
As you know we tried to work with you, we have exhausted every effort to work with you but when you go on
Public TV and accuse the Governor of not wanting help the children of Georgia, have Social media descend on
the Governor with threats by the dozens, you have taken the issue out of our hands and made it an Allen Peake
only issue. Therefore, the only position ieft for the Governor is the law, itis a schedule I narcotic.

Thanks for the response Chris.
1 still strongly believe that a proper regulatory structure can be set up to address the concerns of
providing a schedule I narcotic drug to our citizens as medicine. It has been done in 23 other
states, so there clearly is a model that the federal government will not interfere with, when.
administered properly. 1 believe our state government is smart enough to find a model that
works as well.
On behalf of our hurting citizens who have stated clearly they would like proper access to this
medicine, I hope we can can continue to try and find a solution, for their sake.

Chris & Ryan,
I wanted to reach out to see if there was some
type of discussion on the medical cannabis
cultivation issue that might earn the Governor's
eventual signature, and possibly his support.
The real push for me this year has been access to
the cannabis oil for citizens here in Georgia. If I
have offended the Governor, or you guys, by my
discussion about my experience getting medicine
to these families, I sincerely apologize, and will
say that directly to Governor Deal as well.
