Full Year Internship: Collins Elementary, Grand Rapids, MI - August 2015-April 2016
Designed and implemented lessons while carrying out daily routines for 22 diverse kindergartenersincluding two ESL students and one student with an IEP
Regularly integrated technology through the use of iPads, Chrome books and a Smartboard, as well as
introduced new applications like Seesaw, Padlet, and Storybots to enhance student learning
Analyzed individual student assessment data and utilized the information to differentiate instruction,
whether it was through Daily 5, Word Journeys, one on one intervention, or centers
Collaborated in a professional learning community with the entire kindergarten team as well as two
other student interns to plan coherent and effective units in all subjects
