ODE TO PRESIDENT TRUMP

There was Trump Tower, Park Avenue, World Tower, to name a few, but the man behind
the myth, he was one few of us really knew.
His mark, it had been made on New York, where hed helped light up her skies, but he had a
deeper lifes calling, one that would take us all by surprise.
To some, he had it all, he had filled his lifes plate, but, to him, all meant nothing without his
friend, America The Great.
For it was she who had turned his dreams into the possible; a proper thank you called for
something great, indeed phenomenal.
So, he devised a plan, hed show America his profound gratitude. He sought her reigns, he
gave her his word, he pledged his resolve and steel fortitude.
He needed not the money, the perks, nor the fame; his cause was righteous, and to it he lent
his fortune and good name.
It was simple; he said, "my America, she really used to be great, but somethings happened,
shes fallen from grace, which I simply will not take.
Some cried, he's not self-made, he had dad's help, had a leg up in the race, like a fathers
helping hand made one a cheater or a kind of disgrace.
Contrarily, he seized the moment, knew he had been blessed, he didnt chance fate. He put
in the work, he demanded perfection and rejected second rate.
He took risks and sought advice when he was out of his field; he asked experts and to their
wise advice hed deferentially yield.
His team, it would comprise only those highly inspired. For those who weren't, he'd send
em packing, tell em all, "you're fired."
"His hair," they all pondered, "was real," until that lady jumped up, gave it a yank, and cried,
"wow, it's the real deal!"
For his haters, he was fodder, that couldnt be denied, but he stayed on task, looked the other
way, he did not not run and hide.

They laughed, made jokes, cried, "how will you build this Great Wall?" He said, like I do
all else, with efficiency, determination, and that is all."
"You hate women, you're mean, you disparage those from Mexico!" These were tall tales
and false portrayals the press wanted people to know.
He hosted Saturday Night Live, he made us laugh, he subjected himself to ridicule, but his
numbers, they went up, dubbing others as the fools.
He admitted, "Im one man; I simply dont know it all. But Ill build a skilled team, well
serve you, The People, well answer Americas desperate call.
He spoke his mind, he cared not for political appeal; he showed how one mans hard work
could turn him into "The Art Of The Deal."
Americas leaders, your time has come, youre about to get dumped. Its time to restore
Americas glory and welcome our 45th President, Donald J. Trump.
