SOLUTION SEEKER

WHY IS THIS AN IMPORTANT TRAIT?

Being a solution seeker is an important trait for all students. The ability to use a resource that is
given to help solve a problem you are facing is crucial in the world. If we are unable to seek for a
solution we may lose many opportunities that arise; we are unable to seek the help that is needed
to achieve or understand something.

HOW DO YOU DEMONSTRATE THIS IN YOUR DAILY LIFE?

I do my best to be a solution seeker everyday, so I understand why the answer is the way it is. I
ask questions, so I understand the concepts that I am learning. Therefore, if I was asked to
replicate the problem or asked to analyze why the answer is the answer. I would be able to
replicate the problem if I need to.

HOW DOES THE SAMPLE YOU'VE PROVIDED SHOW THAT

YOU ACTIVELY DEMONSTRATE THIS TRAIT?
The AP statistic chapter 3 test corrections was a great example to demonstrate how I am a
solution seeker in my daily life. After we take a benchmark test, my teacher grades the test and
hands it back. I am able to receive a third of my missed points back, but to receive the points I
have to explain why the correct answer is correct.

I am able to at the time ask my teacher

question to understand the reasoning on why I got the answer wrong. With doing the test
corrections I am to understand the curriculum and will be able to pass the AP exam.

circle that appeared in a random location on the screen as quickly as she could. The computer
tracked the distance (in pixels) she had to move from the center of one circle to the next and the
time (in hundredths of a second) it took her to make her next click. A computer linear regtession
