You have now spent several weeks learning about the art in both the Louvre and the Muse DOrsay and by now
have chosen an art piece (or 2) which interests you and wish you would like to explore more in depth. For Part 1
of your project you are tasked with creating a presentation using the website Emaze to present your art piece for
the class. In your presentation you are required to do the following:
Presentation must include at least 7 slides. Including a title slide for the whole presentation, the following
information must be included for each art piece:
A) Information about the painting: date created, materials used, art movement it is based in, and
artist
B) Brief description/ bio of artist
C) Theme or Message of the Painting, including any symbolism or historical context
D) Composition: lines, angles, use of light, shapes, perspective and color
E) Effect: what does the artist use to create a certain feeling or affect. Ex: La couleur bleu donne un effet de __
F) Personal reflection: Why you chose this/these art piece(s). How does it make you feel?
The time length for this presentation is 5-7 minutes. Also be prepared to not only answer but ask questions after
