• “Money Management” Tips for Teens: SIFE Students taught 22 “at risk” students
about the importance of making decisions in a market-based economic system
• “Money Management” Tips for Teens: SIFE Students taught the importance of
education and skills training to high school students.
• “Money Management” Tips for Teens: SIFE Students taught 22 “at risk” students
the importance of savings, investing, and building their own financial future
• Although in years past the SIFE team has completed projects on environmental
sustainability, none were completed this year.
• “Ethics on the Yard”: For the fourth year in a row, SIFE students met with UWG
students to engage them in discussions on business ethics. For the first time this
year, students completed surveys about their own ethical behavior.
Criterion 7: How successfully did the team develop and execute a strategy to
ensure the long-term sustainability of their team and educational programs.
• Team Recruitment: SIFE students met with UWG students at job the UWG
job fair to recruit students for the SIFE team. Officer elections happen at
the end of each year. Vice Presidents often lead projects to help build
leadership bench strength.
